Yilan Packing List:
~ Swimsuits. ~ Phone/charger
~ Sunscreen ~` Teddy
Yup, you guessed it. We went to Yilan. Of course, I packed more, I packed like a million things, those are just the important things.
Yilan is a surfing city if you didn't know. It was about an hour's drive from Taipei, with lots of tunnels.
On Monday this surfer-looking guy named Allen picked us up from Taipei and drove us to Yilan. I liked the songs he played in the car, they were very happy songs. I like happy songs.
This week was the third camp of the year, a surfing camp. It was a three-day camp to learn how to surf. Allen was one of the coaches.
On the first day, we had Paninis for lunch, which had a pineapple in it. Watched a YouTube video on how to surf. Then we drove to a beach and tried to surf. Mostly I had trouble getting the board to cooperate. I managed though. I even got up on some waves. Yay me!
The second day was the only full day of camp. We had cereal in the morning. Then we went on this awesome hike and saw monkeys. The hike leads to a waterfall and some ponds. We got to swim in it. I think that was my favorite part of the camp. After the hike, we had noodles for lunch and then went surfing.
The last and final day (said dramatically), we woke up super duper early, like 5 am early. That might not be early for some, but it was definitely for me. And of course, went surfing. It was fun till sadly Dai got stung by an evil jellyfish. Also, there were no waves that day and we saw a dead fishy.
Then we stayed for three more days. You shall find out about that later.

Poor dai! Hope he is all healed up! That camp looked epic!
